Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2025
This policy explains what personal data Warden AC ("we", "us") collects, why, and what your rights are. We keep data to a minimum and only use it to run the Service. We're based in Belgium and follow the GDPR.
Who we are
Warden AC provides a moderation dashboard for the Grim anticheat. For questions about your data or to exercise your rights, email privacy@wardenac.com.
What we collect
Account data: your name, email address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
Billing data: subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We receive your plan and subscription status, but your card details are entered on Stripe and never touch our servers.
Player telemetry: to do its job, the Service processes data about players on the servers you connect — such as usernames, UUIDs, in-game positions and anticheat flags. This is gameplay data used for moderation, not marketing.
Basic technical data: standard logs from our hosting providers needed to keep the Service secure and running.
Players on your servers
When you connect a server, you (the server owner) are responsible for the players' data and for informing your community that an anticheat management tool is in use, as your server rules or privacy notice require. We act on your behalf as a processor for that telemetry and only use it to provide the Service to you.
Why we use it and on what basis
We use account and billing data to provide the Service and to take payment (to perform our contract with you), and telemetry to deliver the moderation features you enable (our and your legitimate interest in keeping servers fair). We may send you essential emails about your account, such as verification, password resets, login codes and billing notices.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Service: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Vercel and Railway (hosting). They process data only to provide their part of the Service. We don't sell your data, and there are no ads in Warden AC.
How long we keep it
We keep account and billing data while your account exists and as long as the law requires afterwards. Accounts that never verify their email are removed automatically within about a day. Player telemetry is kept while it's useful for moderation and is not retained longer than needed. If a free trial ends and no plan is taken, the data collected during that trial is removed automatically after about 30 days, with an email beforehand; the account itself is kept so the person can subscribe later. You can delete your account and all associated data yourself at any time from your account settings; if you're a network owner you cancel your subscription first, and deleting an owner account also removes its network and its team members' access. You can still contact us if you'd prefer we handle the deletion for you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, and lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority. To exercise any of these, email privacy@wardenac.com and we'll help.
Changes
As a young product we may refine this policy over time. We'll update the date above and, for important changes, let you know.
